Serving the Glen Ellyn Community and Students since 2014. The Foundation was established to support GBW students with college scholarship opportunities awarding two $2500 scholarships each year. The Foundation was also an integral park of creating the Main Street Rec outdoor basketball court. Created to support GBW and the Glen Ellyn community.
Glen Ellyn Titans Youth Basketball
Glen Ellyn Titans Basketball, established in 1999 as a feeder system for the Glenbard West High School basketball program, offers boys and girls the opportunity to participate in a respected and competitive program. For those living in the GBW HS district, our goal is build a competitive junior basketball program that is recognized as having players, coaches and parents who demonstrate good sportsmanship and integrity at all times while preparing players to ultimate participate at GBW.
The level of play is competitive and a high level commitment by both the players and parents to the program is expected. Our season begins with tryouts in the Fall, training begins in October and the season ends at the beginning of March.
If your player loves the game of basketball and wants to compete at a high level and prepare for high school basketball, our program will offer that opportunity. Fact: 85% of our Titans continue on to compete at the freshman basketball level with about 95% of those trying out making the team.
Our program stresses and develops core basketball fundamentals to achieve positive results on the court at each level. We develop players to allow them to compete, play hard and win for themselves based on a better set of skills. Winning games is a result of implementing and reinforcing sound basketball skills.
